Our Volunteers
We have many volunteers who assist with running events for the club. If you have a talent or skill that you think might be of assistance you might consider joining our wonderful club. Our volunteers give of their time but get so much in return.
“It’s an amazing opportunity to be able to volunteer here and help create a positive and inclusive atmosphere. I’ve had a great experience so far meeting new people and gaining useful skills in a positive and helpful environment”

Volunteering at Rainbow is something I genuinely look forward to every week, it always manages to lift my spirits and leaves me feeling positive. There’s a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes it feel like a real safe haven, where every personality and talent is appreciated. I think what makes it so special is the caring nature that flows through everyone involved, from members to the volunteers and parents.
I also love that I can bring my own skils to the table, whether that’s teaching dance or encouraging my students through Galisce to get involved and experience the same sense of you and fulfilment. It’s a space that celebrates individuality and kindness, and being part of it is always a privilege.

I volunteer for the Rainbow’s because of the the most important thing is helping others, especially when people don’t have the same advantages that I have. I enjoy making a difference in peoples lives–even if it’s just for an hour a week. Seeing the members having fun and been cheerful also makes me feel good about myself.

I am a volunteer and co-ordinator of the rainbow arch club.
My journey started 17 years ago when I started an eight week work experience programme. I enjoyed my time there so much I never left.
What kept me going was the members. They are such a joy to be with. I always leave the club happy.
The club offers a safe place for our members to meet their friends, improve their social skills and self esteem through all the different activities the club offer.
